Welcome to my blog!
My name is James Anderson. I’m 16 years old and attend Hobsonville Point Secondary School in Auckland, New Zealand. I am currently Year 13 and in my final year of high school. I was one of the founding students of Hobsonville Point, being one of nearly 140 Year 9 students in 2014 to start high school as the school was first opened.
This blog has certainly become bigger and better than I ever expected. In the beginning, this page was created for me to share my views on learning and education; my own little safe space just to share my thoughts. Little did I expect that I’d be connecting with students and educators from all over the world.
I’m certainly not the best blogger out there, but what I’ve learnt from blogging is that every person out there is unique and they all have their own stories to share. I started sharing my experience of being a 21st Century learner in a modern learning environment and I had no idea how valuable my voice was to other people. It’s important that we listen and value those people willing to stand up and share their voice, whether thats online or offline.
I hope you enjoy the content I create and all of my social links are spread out all across this blog site so don’t be afraid get in touch with me, I’d love to connect with you. James.
